Gallery Systems has a custom action called the Light Exposure Diary, and their new Conservation Studio also has functionality specifically for tracking light exposure. You may want to consider talking to your account representative about this functionality.

Just yesterday, we were having preliminary discussion on this topic. It would be great to hear what others are doing.

Thanks!

Onderwerp: Tracking Light Exposure

Our conservation team is interested in knowing how other institutions using TMS are tracking cumulative light exposure for works of art. At the very least, they want to be able to record actual display begin and end dates (which of course are not always the same as the related exhibition dates or loan periods, especially when there is a long install) and possibly the average light level for that period.

Anyone doing this? Where and how are you recording this information?

Thanks!
