I have had some luck, at least with locations, in changing the advanced search for locations from a drop-down to a * entry field.  So you do an advance search and enter “does not equal” and * in the search.  This brings up the null values.  But I can’t remember exactly how I changed the search function from the drop down to the text entry.  I am sure it was in DB config.

 

 

 

And I have the problem with “Current location”, that I cannot search on an empty value. J

I’d like to know how to do this, too. I’ve also tried to search for other fields using the “Is Empty” value in the query, but can’t seem to make that work.

Is there a way to query on this field (Accession Value) if there is no value? I have a group of records, some of which do have a value, and some do not. I’d like to segregate those that don’t from those that do.
