I upgraded the YCBA to 2016 when it was released in March 2016. It’s been fine except for one small problem in the Exhibitions module. GS moved the loans display order field from its original location to a separate
table. The change upset the Registrar since the loans were not ordered as before.
Also, I had to change a few CR reports to reflect the loans display order change.
Another problem which I raised at CI 2016 concerns the web enabled thesaurus. If you installed the 2014 web thesaurus, then you will have to manually clear the IE and Chrome cache for each user that used the
2014 thesaurus.
Prior to clearing the cache, the users will not be able to access thesaurus 2016. The cache clearing just needs to be done in the IE and Chrome browsers on your terminal TMS server where the web thesaurus is
installed.
Otherwise, 2016 is great.

We upgraded to 2016 a couple of months ago and so far the loans module is the only one giving me trouble. The LoanObj Status is not updating in the database when you change the status. They changed how it is
set up in 2016 and it now has its own table under Maintenance – Authorities. Brian sent a script to fix the updating problem but we have to run it every week or so to make it update properly. I have several reports that run based on the LoanObj Status selection
so I’ve had trouble running certain reports. I believe they plan to fix the issue in R2. If you don’t use that status much it may not be a big deal but it has been an issue for us.
