Ella, Are you talking about looking for Rendition X, where the URI for the file is no longer valid (the path changed, the filename changed, or the file was deleted)?

 

I have been able to do this with a PHP based spider in the past. But if you are using TMS 2014+, you can use the "Media Module > Maintenance > Image Metadata" option to refresh the cached metadata. The Error Log should be able to tell you which files it couldn't extract metadata from - which would be the result of broken links.
