Try installing the application Bib Data (http://bibdata.com/) to test your connections. I found it helped to troubleshoot. I could rule out issues with the connection details and firewall issues.

I’ve tried tweaking the Results.AutoRequestDelay setting in configuration, but it doesn’t seem to make much difference. Has anyone else come across this and managed to resolve it?
