Atlas Material Testing Technology is offering free one hour lectures (webinars) on accelerated ageing outdoor and indoor laboratory testing (see below). You must sign up for each lecture individually but they are offered at a variety of times-in different time zones (UTC). This was a little confusing to me at first, but it is actually very nice-depending on where you live and your work schedule, you can sign up to listen to the lecture early in the morning, in the evening or during the day. The lecturer promised to send us listening to today's lecture a pdf of the slides, which is very nice indeed. I think we will all find them useful. The language is English, the speaker references ASTM, ISO, and AATCC test methods. All sorts of materials are mentioned-from cars to carpeting and golf balls!

Enjoy---

Subject: Atlas Material Testing Update

Hello,

As we start a new year, Atlas is pleased to announce the introduction of our latest Client Education offering, the Atlas Online Weathering Academy. This Academy will conduct online webinars that focuses on Fundamentals of Weathering and other weathering topics. The first of a five part series is scheduled to begin this month and is being offered at no cost to you, all you need to do is register at: www.atlasmtt.com/onlinefow<http://www.atlasmtt.com/onlinefow>

As you begin considering your weathering instrument needs for 2017, whether it be adding additional testing capacity or replacing an obsolete Ci35 or Ci65, please let me know and I can provide a new quotation. As Atlas has been communicating for several years now, if you are currently operating an obsolete Ci35 or Ci65 instrument, please note that price increases on the parts unique to this generation of equipment have continued to increase due to smaller lot sizes and obsolete technology, an average 17% in 2017. In addition, we have now fully exhausted inventory on several key components, including the majority of printed circuit boards and cycle timers for the control systems used in Ci35s and Ci65s.

Please let me know if I can answer any questions or provide you with a quotation.

Regards,

Marty Hansen
