Hey David and Steven, Thanks for the info. David, we are trying (if possible) to do the opposite of what you’re doing. We are wondering if our TMS constituent records can be harvested for new Wikidata articles. This is part of a larger project with Wikipedia to promote research of Latin American artists. Most of the artists in our collection have no entries in Wikipedia. I have little background in the Wiki world and I’m working with my colleague who is already well-versed in Wikidata. They were wondering if this sort of process exists. If not, we would just work with extracting and entering data via Excel. Thanks again! Probably not what you are looking for but a good trick to know anyway. For example... https://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?format=json&action=query&prop=extracts&exintro=&explaintext=&titles=Pablo%20Picasso Then you parse the json and do what you want with it. I've been using TMS & Wikidata together quite a bit (working with them at this very moment, in fact), but I mostly have worked the other direction: harvesting information from Wikidata to map into my TMS Constituent records. I used Wikidata Tools for Google Sheets to help match names. Once I've confirmed the match is correct, I keep the WIkidata ID in the Constituent's Alternate Numbers field. Then I use the Wikidata Tools again to extract IDs for ULAN, VIAF, Library of Congress Authorities, and Wikipedia articles. With those IDs you can use their APIs to pull back other info. I can go into more detail if this is of interest. I did use a WD tool called Quick Statements to populate about 11,000 WD articles with Photographers' Identities Catalog IDs. That was easy, but I haven't used any tools to generate new WD items. A colleague of mine is curious on how TMS can generate data and records for Wikipedia/Wikidata. I have no idea how this could work, but thought I should ask before I research further.
