I’m interested in any solutions for this, too. We don’t use TextEntryHTML because of all the garbage code, but if there is a fix or workaround, we might consider it.
Thanks,

Subject: Links in Text Entries
Hi all,
Does anyone have any tips for entering HTML into Text Entries so it will display properly online?
If I want it to display like this:
Hello, this is a link.
And I enter it like this:
Hello, this is a <a href=”www.google.com”>link.</a>
Then in the TextEntries table, TextEntries.TextEntry has this content:
Hello, this is a <a href="www.google.com">link.</a>
And TextEntries.TextEntryHTML will display like this:
Hello, this is a <a href="www.google.com">link.</a>
Our website pulls from TextEntryHTML so it’ll show up on the site escaped like the above:
Hello, this is a <a href="www.google.com">link.</a>
Any tips for getting it to display properly or get it to read HTML correctly? If we copy and paste from Word that adds a bunch of other crazy formatting. I had success with using SQL to update TextEntryHTML with the correct code but I’d
really like to be able to enter it in the front end and have the embedded links display properly if possible.
Any tips greatly appreciated! Thank you so much for any help you can offer me!
Many thanks,
Molly
