Here’s an outline of some of the tasks we do in the Event Module:

 

Basic Tasks

-          Track Photo Orders  (client, publisher, object, media record, signed contracts, etc.)

-          Analytical Sampling (e.g., radio carbon dating, DNA)  (lab, researcher, objects, raw data results)

 

Moderate Tasks

-          External Research Requests (researcher, museum staff, objects, raw data results, published data, permission forms)

-          Teaching – Objects to Class (faculty, TA, museum staff, objects, class)

-          Teaching – Tours, etc (ditto)

 

Advanced

-          NAGPRA (multi-year consultations, complex and dynamic tribal groups, legal record of every communication)

Hello everybody! I’d love to know what people are doings with the Events module. The only thing that anyone has done with ours is to record some old deaccession events, but I am sure there are more creative uses than that!
