Hi Rodger;
I did this very thing today for the first time with 1,444 object numbers in Excel. You need to use the textjoin function in Excel to put all of the numbers into one cell with each number separated by a comma. In my case, I had my object numbers in column A from row 1-1444. In cell B1 I entered = textjoin(",", True, A1:A1444). Then I copied the contents of B1 and Pasted Special as Value into cell B2 in Excel. Then I copied and pasted the contents of B2 into a Query Assistant while searching for Object Number.
Let me know if you need more detailed instructions.

Is there a way to create an object package based on a list of numbers in Excel or Word? We often have lists of objects we want to move, create new thumbnails for, etc.
It would be so helpful if we could paste a list of number into the object package. If this isn’t doable I hope it will be considered for development.
Thanks,
Rodger
