Hello,

We had to look into this recently as well. The "Copy Image to Clipboard" function is actually controlled by the "Download 4- Original File" functional security checkbox. It's been a while so I may be a bit fuzzy on this...but if you are still having trouble- try this is on the security group attached to Object department (if different than media departments). From what I can recall I believe it is accessed from the Objects Module and doesn't completely "take you in" to the Media Module, hence why it falls on the object side, but I may be wrong.

Hope that helps!
Matt

Subject: User Group Permissions

Does anyone know how to control the Media module "copy image to clipboard" function permissions for different user groups? One of our user groups has the ability to copy images, but the other one does not and we can't figure out what feature of the user group configuration controls this access. Both user groups have the ability to "open image in external viewer," but the "copy image to clipboard" icon is "grayed out" for one of the user groups. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. (Screenshot below with icon circled in red.)

Thanks,
Angelika
