1. Name of Institution Richard Diebenkorn Foundation 2. Version of TMS you are using 2017 3. Number of TMS users Usually no more than 6-8 concurrent users 4. Number of TMS licences Site license 5. Deployment solution All users connect via Remote Desktop, both for Macs and PCs. This makes deployment of upgrades simple. Since we get our Microsoft remote licenses via Techsoup, the cost is minimal. *From:* The Museum System (TMS) Users <[log in to unmask]> *On Behalf Of *Jacob Weber *Sent:* Wednesday, September 11, 2019 7:49 AM *To:* [log in to unmask] *Subject:* Deploying TMS is your Museum/Gallery? Hi Everyone, Tate are looking at new ways to deploy TMS to user’s PCs as our current solution is out of date and will not be compatible with TMS2018 which we are looking to upgrade to soon. Our IT department is currently exploring a variety of options to give users access to TMS. The options in front of us now are; Citrix which comes with added expenses due to changes in how they charge for licences, App-V which is being touted as the flash new way of delivering applications to users, and a type of thick client installation which will mean TMS will be installed on individual PCs. So that I can give my colleagues in IT some context to how other clients deploy TMS to their users I thought I would ask here what everyone is using. If you know the details please could you send me your current situation and some background information? If you would like to send the details to me directly then please email [log in to unmask] The information I need is: 1. Name of Institution 2. Version of TMS you are using 3. Number of TMS users 4. Number of TMS licences 5. Deployment solution Many thanks and I look forward to your responses, Jacob *Jacob Weber* Collections Database Manager Tate +44(0) 20 7887 8717 [log in to unmask] *Richard GrantExecutive Director* 3214 College Avenue Berkeley, CA 94705 [log in to unmask] 510.428.1400 ext 4 510.459.4556 mobile Instagram <https://nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Fdiebenkornfoundation%2F&data=02%7C01%7CTMSUSERS%40si-listserv.si.edu%7Ca33ad94bf88a434a1aec08d737ad3b96%7C989b5e2a14e44efe93b78cdd5fc5d11c%7C0%7C0%7C637039089478560423&sdata=lx7lw6X3PBvO870OGQSlXFrKeXQFqpWKneHoPQeqiTk%3D&reserved=0> | Twitter <https://nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2Fdiebenkorn_fnd&data=02%7C01%7CTMSUSERS%40si-listserv.si.edu%7Ca33ad94bf88a434a1aec08d737ad3b96%7C989b5e2a14e44efe93b78cdd5fc5d11c%7C0%7C0%7C637039089478560423&sdata=eh1SRo05y%2FOMIsdT3LU31fELBN055tMMhxGwt4q5PoE%3D&reserved=0> [image: Richard Diebenkorn Fountation] <https://nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.diebenkorn.org%2F&data=02%7C01%7CTMSUSERS%40si-listserv.si.edu%7Ca33ad94bf88a434a1aec08d737ad3b96%7C989b5e2a14e44efe93b78cdd5fc5d11c%7C0%7C0%7C637039089478560423&sdata=K2ZzXiW%2BpM8snaV8tMu7ftSB27048lhsYU4KTmtNqQE%3D&reserved=0> To unsubscribe, send an email to [log in to unmask] with the following commands in the body of the email: signoff TMSUSERS // eoj You will receive a confirmation that your subscription has been removed.
