External Email - Exercise Caution

Hi Cornelius,

We’ve also found this issue since upgrading from 2016R2 to 2018-SP1. We just confirmed today, through running reports in an old 2016R2 environment, that the splits were not present prior to the upgrade therefore it is not an issue with the data or reports.

It seems to be an issue with the PDF viewer in TMS2018. Exports to Word do not have an issue. We’re opening a case with GS and can hopefully get some answers, but I would also be interested to hear if others have encountered this or found a solution.

Subject: TMS 2018-SP1 - Random Line Breaks in Reports

External Email - Exercise Caution

We just finished our upgrade to TMS 2018-SP1 and found some issues with text displaying in reports. Some of our longer multi-line fields break randomly mid-word to a new line. We’ve combed over this data to be sure there aren’t any extra spaces causing this. Have any of you encountered this, or have figured out a solution?

I’ve attached an example page from the GS canned OB.Exhibition History.rpt, but here is screenshot too.

Many thanks,

Cornelius Marr
