The last two years have seen a rapid acceleration of climate warming and its disastrous consequences have affected many parts of the world.

Such consequences as these:

extreme weather/temperature fluctuations
extreme heat and cold
violent storms
giant hail
flooding
rising sea levels
prolonged drought
extremely high rainfall/humidity
mudslides/landslides
melting permafrost
wildfires

Venice is the latest victim of serious flooding: the city fathers had been ignoring the obvious risk for decades.

The need for preventive conservation has taken on a new urgency. How are conservators, museums and monuments to respond?
Obviously every region has its own specific issues based on geography, and some may not yet have been affected.

Are you responding to, or preparing for these challenges in your daily practice?
Is your institution responding to, or preparing for the challenges of rapid climate change?
If so, how?
What are your concerns?
