Hi Chrisy,
The MS926 seems like a really good solution. We have been using barcode technologies to track object locations for 14 years. We have used several different scanners over the years and have always chosen models
that allowed a visual review. We recently started using TMS Bar Code Manager. We are scanning into a Zebra TC20 hand- held computer/scanner running on Android 7.1.2 . We like Bar Code Manager because we no longer have to program our scanners and it only
requires a text file to upload. But we have issues with our Zebra scanner.
I have a few questions about your work-flow. What program are you scanning into, with the Unitech. Is the program native to the MS926? Does the MS926 store the scans directly on the unit, making them accessible
to upload directly to your host computer? Most note taking apps we have tried, scan to the cloud rendering the data irretrievable. We have been scanning into Google Docs with the Zebra, however some users find the interface a bit complex. We are searching
for a simpler solution, one with a simple user interface, that stores data directly on the device or on an SD card, and also produces an easily up-loadable text file .
Could you tell me a little more about the program you are using, and where the data is stored and how the MS926 uploads to the host computer?
Thank you,
Polina

Hi Lori,
We are also using the Unitech MS926, and really like that we can review scans as we go. We can catch mistakes and rescan if necessary and are able to upload scans directly on an iPad or laptop. We also like that
scans are saved even after they are uploaded. This eliminates the possibility of losing your scans. We heard this can be an issue with other scanners.
Best,
Chrisy

Hi Ana,
This does help! We need it for exactly the same reason. We need to be able to see and verify the scans as barcodes are being scanned. We’ve ran into instances with our current
scanner in which do not have displays where the warehouse had duplicate scans, which prevented the barcode scan file from importing into TMS until the duplicates were identified and removed.
We would also like to use the timestamp feature.
Thank you!

Hi Lori,
The choice of equipment mainly depends on what use you have for the display. I had to recently source equipment for our purposes and I found out this small handheld companion 2D barcode scanner that has a small
OLED display: MS926 from Unitech. This was the only option I found that had the desired timestamp feature for the Barcode Manager plugin in TMS and a display, which allows quick assessing of the scans and verifying errors. It is wireless, has Bluetooth and
is compatible with Windows notepad.
Hope this helps!
Ana

Hi everyone,
We are using the barcode manager with TMS and have been using a Motorola CS3070, which does not have a built-in display. We are looking at replacing these with handheld
scanners that do have built-in displays. Can anyone make any recommendations?
Thank you,
