Hi Laura, we deaccession as required by our collections management policy. The Object Status in the object record is “Deaccessioned,” the Disposition Method in the deaccession record is “Repatriation.”

How do you record objects repatriated to tribes? My initial instinct is to record it as a deaccession (removal from collections) but was told not to use the word deaccession in conjunction
with repatriated items.
