External Email - Exercise Caution Jeffrey, we too at the National Gallery (Hugo and I) would also be interested in this. We're currently thinking of putting at least some of this kind of material in the Conservation module, but if ther'es a consensus for putting it elsewhere, we'll gladly reconsider. During this time, it seems staff is thinking about those items which have been pushed down the “to-do” list. Our Prints, Drawings, and Photography Department would like a way to indicate if an object is not suitable for travelling or viewing in their study room. Some of the reasons an object would be flagged are the following: fragile medium, fragile object, past light exposures, etc. It seems a system could be developed across the collection not just for one department. I would be interested to see how others are tracking this in their systems. Thanks for sharing your ideas, solutions, and attribute lists.
