External Email - Exercise Caution

Hi Anna,

Triarsa has developed ItemFinder, an RFID based  solution for Collection Tracking.

This is how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aU3hfG-Y_VA&t=2s

We are Zebra ISV Partners, specialized in RFID, so we can help you implementing this solution through Zebra partners worldwide.

BTW, we are software developers and Gallery Systems distributors, so we would be very happy to integrate both solutions

There are many many sorts of RFID tags. The best RFID tags for a collection depend on the surface to which they will be added, environment and reading distance needed (manual / fixed scanner)

RFID tags are not limited to stickers. There are hard tags, seals, labels, cards…We can help you to implement the best ones according to the objects in your collection

We don´t suggest RFID for security; but as you mention, it can be an aid. ItemFinder is prepared to configure alerts when an item moves through an unauthorized portal.

Main RFID advantages:

·        Real time tracking

·        Reduce search time

·        Alert unauthorized movements

You can contact me directly

Best,

Gabriela

My institution is looking into implementing RFID tags for artwork to track locations and aid with security. I know TMS supports barcodes, but does TMS support RFID?

If so,, I would also be interested in talking with anyone who has implemented RFID tags at their institution. I have worked with barcodes (in another CMS at another institution) but have not worked with RFID.

Thanks in advance!
