External Email - Exercise Caution

Dear Rhondda

If I’ve understood your need correctly, then, in the Thesaurus Manager:

  1. Find the term you want to move in the hierarchy tree
  2. Right-click on it, and choose ‘Cut Concept’
  3. Find the term below which you wish to add the term you’re moving in the hierarchy tree
  4. Right-click on it, and choose ‘Paste Concept’
  5. You’ll be shown a dialog saying “You are about the move the concept: ‘W’ from under the concept: ‘X’ to under the concept: ‘Y’. Total of Z concept(s) will be move. Proceed?”
  6. Click ‘Yes’ or ‘no’ as appropriate

This applies to 2016 R2, so I assume still holds for 2018.

Some official written reference documentation for the Thesaurus Manager would be really useful.

Best wishes

Rupert

External Email - Exercise Caution

Hello TMS friends,

Looking for advice on how to reposition terms in the thesaurus hierarchy.

Not looking to use the Search and Replace terms in the Configurations, although if I create new term in the correct location, I could use this as an option.

Currently using TMS2018 (version 9.70).

Thanks in advance.
