Dear colleagues

We’re looking for a part-time Information Officer at the National Gallery, to help take some of the weight off my shoulders as we embark on our Digital Dossier Project; advert below. Please could you circulate amongst your networks?

With thanks and best wishes

Collection Information Officer

Fixed Term Contract, Part Time at 17.5 hours per week.

Salary: £14,750 per annum pro rata (£29,500 FTE)

Application closing date: 7 February 2022

Test and Interview: 22 February 2022 (Test), 23 February 2022 (Interview)

Are you an experienced administrator of museum collection information or documentation, seeking a better work-life balance? If so, the National Gallery is looking for a part-time Collection Information Officer during the initial 22 months of a major three-year project, with the possibility of extension.

You will have experience of administering and tidying museum data and authority files, and managing user support and front-end configuration of one or more museum collections management systems.

We can offer a commitment to flexible working arrangements; the opportunity to acquire further experience on additional systems and processes, such as our CIIM middleware; and the opportunity to work with one of the world’s great fine art collections at a particularly dynamic moment in its history.

Please visit https://nationalgalleryjobs.ciphr-irecruit.com/templates/CIPHR/jobdetail_1520.aspx for more information about the post and the skills and attributes required, and to make an application. We look forward to hearing from you.

The National Gallery is an equal opportunities employer
