reporting to the Manager, Collections information Systems.
Metadata Specialist

The Metadata Specialist has an affinity for information and, without effort, sees the connection between bits of information related to cataloging artifacts. Have you
had experience being responsible for providing data management and metadata support for a collections information system(s)? Do your skills include data entry in any collection information management systems (CMS, DAMs), verifying and processing new information
for upload to databases, as well as assisting in the development, implementation and documenting of the museum's data and metadata standards; and assisting in developing user training materials and system reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To sum up, the main intent of this grant-funded position is to provide assistance around a range of TMS administrative activities that will include general metadata
cleanup as well as technical metadata tasks.
