Hello!

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but we have catalogued Moore's notebooks and sketchbooks, and published them through eMuseum. We have an Object entry for the sketchbook, and individual object records for each drawing (recto and verso). These are then linked to the parent sketchbook as either bound or unbound. Perhaps easier to see than to explain - one example of an album with bound/unbound pages is here - click on 'related' to see the bound/unbound pages and 'view all' to see them all.... https://nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fcatalogue.henry-moore.org%2Fobjects%2F9243%2F&data=05%7C01%7CTMSUSERS%40SI-LISTSERV.SI.EDU%7C93b87d0da0644e74676508db1685ea13%7C989b5e2a14e44efe93b78cdd5fc5d11c%7C0%7C0%7C638128537101519986%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=aW%2B00XEgfjQB5Lew2eNOP4tYv25D%2Buee2MRdwh%2BK2O8%3D&reserved=0

Kind Regards

Subject: Scrapbook album media

Hello,

Has anyone cataloged a scrapbook album in TMS? How have you done it? I made an object record for the "album" and made a page as a child object record. That page has 4 photographs. We have images of the entire page as well as each individual photographs. I thought about making the image of the page the primary display image and each photo a Media Child. The child image shows up if you go into the media record, however, it does not appear in the hierarchy view. I also don't know how it will display in eMuseum. I'd rather not create separate child object records for each photograph, but I may have to.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks,
Alison
