I recently spoke at a teacher conference at our museum and gathered feedback on our website. Many attendees expressed interest in learning more about loaned objects in our past exhibitions. We do not publish information about loaned objects to our instance of eMuseum, and this policy is unlikely to change. After an exhibition ends, the public can access information on our website about objects owned by the museum that were part of the show. However, unless they visited the show and took pics of wall labels of select objects, there isn't much information they can find about loaned objects in past shows.

My coworker, Bryan Hilley and I have been updating the details of past shows in the Exhibitions module, including associated objects, photos of the shows, etc. We plan to make this information available on our eMuseum eventually. One idea I had is to include a PDF in the Exhibitions media section,  that lists the loaned objects and their sources. This would allow users to find more information about these objects on the lending institutions' websites. It feels a tad clunky, but I'm not seeing another way.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? I would love to hear how you addressed it or any ideas you might have.
