I have to swim against the flow and give a non-marine science fact. Hypathetically speaking - if you drove to the sun at 55 mph it would take you 193 years to get there.

A couple people asked for a picture or two from the wedding. Attached are one of my husband and I and another is of Julie and I.  Don't forget my new last name is Nickelson.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all at the next board meeting - when did you decide to have it?

If it looks like fish and tastes like fish but Chuck Norris says its

The FMSEA Board has now been added to the SE listserv (except for
Howard,
the server doesn't seem to care for him). Feel free to greet them
however
you feel it appropriate.

Just to see if everything is working, I'd like to ask the Board members
to
send a test message to the list. Nothing boring like "test." Send a
marine
biology fact or an up-coming event or something of substance. Howard can
play if he likes, but we're still trying to figure out what he did to
offend
the computer.

Here's my fact: Manatees can cause localized temperature disturbances
that,
while momentarily enjoyable when swimming in a cold canal, leave you
feeling
"dirty" afterwards.

Did you know that the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach sits along one of the most heavily used sea turtle nesting beaches in the world?  Makes you want to come visit, doesn't it?!
