Hi Carol,

Minnesota Humanities Center would be very interested in having both exhibits to Minnesota after we host Sparked here which ends in 2029, so perhaps we could be in line to start hosting in 2029 or 2030.

Thank you!
Corey

Subject: MoMS exhibition opportunities

Hi all,

We are pleased to announce two new exhibition opportunities in the MoMS program beginning in 2025: Americans from the National Museum of American Indian, and Many Voices, One Nation from the National Museum of American History. Descriptions are attached.

The rich history of America is the story of a complex interweaving of a diverse people from many cultures who continually strive to find a shared future. These two exhibitions go to the heart of the matter. As the national dialogue turns to America at 250 in the coming few years, we believe that these projects will engage hundreds of communities across the country as they explore how the many voices of people in America have contributed to and are shaping our nation.

Four copies of Americans will open in August/September 2025 and travel for six years. This 700 square foot exhibition will utilize some of the structural concepts, layering of digital content, and crating designs used in recent MoMS exhibitions.

Many Voices, One Nation is an exhibition "kit" that includes ready-to build structure and digital content. Participating states select 4 to 8 communities and MoMS staff will provide training and guidance as host organizations develop their own unique exhibition that features local stories and images. With 30 or more communities across the country focused on the same core content annually, public program initiatives can be shared between communities and states.

So, now it's your turn. Please let me know of your potential interest in either or both of these exhibitions and the timeframe in which you would like to bring them to your state. Exhibition contracts will be sent at a later date. For now, we just want to start to organize exhibition tours based on your preferences and availability. It would be helpful to know your first and second preference of available dates.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I would love to hear from you.

As always, with warm regards,

Carol
