Subject: The Smithsonian Showdown is back!

MoMSers,

Help us, Obi Wan Kenobi. You're our only hope!

Only you can catapult the Smithsonian traveling exhibition "Rebel, Jedi, Princess, Queen: Star Wars(tm) and the Power of Costume" to the next round of this year's Smithsonian Showdown, giving SITES and its exhibition partners intellectual bragging rights across the museum universe! If you've already voted, thank you for your support, and if not, take a minute to click the link, and cast a vote for the artistry and magic of costume design.

Beginning in 1977, when the first Star Wars(tm) film was released, legions of fans have been enthralled by creatures and beings of all shapes and sizes, defined by the sheer believability of their look and manner. Through the power of costume, we can easily imagine queens and Jedi, Droids and Sith Lords fighting for control of the galaxy! It's all possible in the movies.

Again, thank you for your vote, and may the Force be with you! By the way, the exhibition is on view at the EMP Museum in Seattle until early October. See why one Instagram follower said "if the Star Wars exhibit isn't cool, I don't know what is!"

Sincerely,

The SITES Social Media Team
