Everyone,

MoMS is working on a new technology development plan for the program that may end up including significant enhancements for our websites and the technology used in exhibitions. To get a good base of information to work with, we've started to send out a survey to past and future exhibitors that will start landing in email boxes today. We're surveying venues back to 2009, so I wanted to give you a heads up about the survey, just in case anyone contacts you and asks "why did I get this"?

The email (from my [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> address) with the subject line "Smithsonian Institution Survey" reads:

Greetings!

You have received this survey because your organization has hosted <<exhibit>> in the past several years.

The Smithsonian Institution's Museum on Main Street program is developing a plan for future technology enhancements. We would like to learn more from our exhibitors about their interests in social media and technology in exhibitions. Information gathered from our hosts will be an essential element in our planning for the future.

Please help us by taking a few moments to complete the survey at the link below by March 31, 2015.

Thank you very much for your assistance. Your input will be used to help us better serve Museum on Main Street participants.

Best wishes,
The Museum on Main Street Team

If you would like to answer the survey, please feel free. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Many thanks,
Robbie
