Textile conservation contract opportunity at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, Virginia



The Smithsonian Institution has a requirement for the services of an experienced textile conservation professional to perform conservation treatment of the textile covering of an early historic aircraft at the National Air and Space Museum. The project will begin in November 2019 and will be for approximately 900 hours of service. All work will be performed at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia. Responses from interested parties, based on the Request for Quote document, will be due by 5:00 EST March 25th, 2019.
