Hi All,

Orion receives occasional requests for textile dye analysis.  While we are able to identify modern synthetic dyes and some historic and natural textile dyes by FTIR or Raman, we have not invested in instrumentation and reference materials required to identify a comprehensive range of historic and natural textile dyes.

I would be grateful for recommendations to other laboratories you have used (and found helpful) for textile dye analysis, so we can refer inquirers elsewhere.
