Hi Laura - I’m thinking of putting in a proposal for a paper on the CNC mannequins that I made with my computer scientist/CNC operator nephew for the National Music Centre - (here’s a blog from NMC https://nmc.ca/collections-move-update-part-2/ <https://nmc.ca/collections-move-update-part-2/>) not sure if that is what you are looking for - we cut 20 mannequins using the CNC router and from that starting point I completed the finishing touches to fit the costumes and provide the arms/legs etc.

I also wanted to do this paper (or a version of) at the Canadian Association of Conservators meeting in Regina after the AIC meeting, so wasn’t sure how it worked to submit a similar topic to 2 different conferences….

not sure if you have any info or if you think I should submit this topic for the TSG.

thanks
Gail
