A remote application server that is set to log users out after 60 minutes
of inactivity should result in a clean logout. However terminating TMS
through the SQL Server, while at times necessary, is not a viable solution.
This will not close the application at the user end or record a logout in
the LoginRecords table. An open user interface with no database connection
is a recipe for unpleasant support calls, as the application will crash,
and can generally only be closed by terminating the museum.exe process in
Task Manager.
David, What sort of data would you be looking to have tabulated by this
data in a report?
