Hi all,

In the interest of the eternal holy grail style quest to create an automated way to report out on display times for objects en masse I was wondering if anyone has approached it from a location change perspective? At CB we only make exhibition records for named shows, though we are starting to have interns work through a backlog of historical exhibitions. Either way we want to avoid the manual data entry mandated by calculating display times from exhibition records.

We do however have a rigorous and highly accurate set of location moves. I'm interested in using CR or a Dataview to run math on the move date of sets of moves based on the Purpose (Exhibition or Loan) which is followed by a move to Storage (Short or Long Term) and then repeat for every instance, culminating in a total amount of display time.

Is this nuts to try to attempt to do in CR? I know date math can get janky at the best of times.
