Hi Christina,

At the MFAH we've begun using a relatively simple SharePoint page, still figuring out what works and what doesn't.  I have several bits of information on it, some more useful than others, but I think the most useful has been the blog where I post various notices.  That's the element I get the most feedback about, anyway.  I've noticed that placement of the elements is really important.  Since the TMS window doesn't open in full-screen mode, users usually only notice the elements in the upper left corner of the content area, so that's where I recently put the blog postings.  For the sake of better readability, I think at some point I'll strip out some of the less useful elements once I have a better understanding of what our users consider "useful."

Good Morning -

Would any of you who are using a wiki or sharepoint portal as a TMS main menu landing page be willing to share a screenshot with me?

We are discussing landing page options with our curatorial and IT teams and I would love to show them some examples of what other institutions have done. We are in the process of implementing sharepoint and will most likely go that direction, but interested in seeing other tools in use as well.
