Thanks so much to everyone who has answered my query – it is all incredibly helpful and I will try this out and hopefully find what I need☺

Many thanks!

Kathleen

Yes, but you are going to have to make changes to your configuration.

Open DBConfig.

Go to "Manage > Query Groups"

Under "Available Hierarchies" open "Objects > Constituent Xrefs > Constituent Xref Details > Constituent Alternate Names"

[cid:image001.png@01D3F8C2.424CF540]

Now add any of these fields to a search group under "Query Groups > Objects" (You may want to create a new Advanced Query group called "Constituent Alternate Names").

Restart TMS and this group and fields will be available for searching.

I hope this helps. ~Chad

Hi Everybody

I am trying to clean up my constituent names and one of my constituents has several redundant alternate names. My constituent has over 2,300 records but I have been through all of them and I thought I had corrected all of the names but when I go to delete some of these alternate names, it won’t let me saying there are still records related to that name. Is there any way to search simply on the alternate name so that I can possibly find these records? Every time I do a search on alternate names it just brings up the primary constituent with 2,300 plus records but I am hoping to find the needle in the haystack ☺ so looking for more narrow results.

If anyone has any brilliant solutions for me I would so grateful.

Thanks!

Kathleen
