We use Luna Insight and have 2-way scripting that drops images and basic metadata into TMS (nightly) and pulls tombstone data back into Luna (weekly). The programming was done by a backend database programmer using the SQL databases of each system.

Subject: DAMs fetching metadata from TMS?
To: [log in to unmask]

Hi, we are currently considering photo archive
systems for the museum and I was hoping that some of you on this list could
give me advice on systems that can communicate with TMS in order to fetch the
needed metadata. I already know that Tate Modern use iBase Trinity with an
integration to TMS that let’s iBase Trinity fetch what it needs, and it
is this type of thing I’m looking for. Do any of you have system
integrations of this type that you would recommend?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards, Hilde
