Also don't forget to set ConXrefDetails.NameID. That is easy to slipup on if you are doing this manually and will also cause TMS to lockup and crash if it isn't set.

I did create a series of SQL inserts to link constituents to either object or media records in TMS2012, but you have to be methodical and oh-so-careful, and scope out the records in advance, because the display order for each Xrefs link must be unique, or TMS freezes up. It’s easy to screw-up.

I think Richard is still using version 9.35. The structure for ConXrefs in 9.35 was much simpler, but a more complicated structure was introduced in TMS 2010. A simple SQL INSERT statement will not work, instead you either need a cursor or a stored procedure to be able to create ConXrefs through the back end.

Richard,
Yes, please! I can likely modify, if I can understand the SQL. We're still on 2010, though hopefully not for long.
Thanks,

Do you want to attach the same constituent with the same role to everything in an object package? Dimitry helped me develop a SQL query to do that. Let me know if you want it. You will need to confirm with Dimitry or someone else in support that it will work for your version of TMS.

Does anyone know how to do this?
Let's say I want to attach ConstituentID 50 to ObjectID 100 with a RoleID of 5. I can't seem to even see what table(s) I'd be inserting this into! I do a lot of my data cleaning and upgrading from the backend, so it's particularly annoying and time-consuming to have to click through 75 records one at a time to add a constituent name to each. Help?
