I am hoping that one or more of you homebound folks can help us solve a problem we are having with Flexfields. We are currently using two different groups of flexfields; one for registration and the other for collections activities. The issue started when we broke apart the single group into two. Accidentally two of the same field was created in the collections activities group. We tried to delete the extra field but TMS won’t allow it. I understand that if it is active you can’t delete an entire group but why not just a simple field that you just accidentally created, hum? Now we unfortunately have an “empty” field that won’t let you move outside of flexfields until a number is added such as “0”. A window pops up and says “GSUserfield ¡ Please enter Value”. Of course I can right click and remove the group and re add the group and the problematic issue of an extra “empty” field is gone, but unfortunately the extra “empty” field that requires a value was added to over 8,000 records.
Thank you all so much for any advice you may have.

Take care!
