Hello fellow TMS users,

We are working on setting up the barcode manager (we are using TMS 2012).

My question to those who have gone through the bar-coding set up is which field did you choose to put your component, location and crate barcode in, and why? (in order to search for them quicker?)

I know that Danielle U. in her barcode webinar chose Physical Description, however we are heavily using that field to describe our components, so we are faced with either repurposing another field or using a field from ObjContext table (a flex field).

So we are wondering how did other institutions dealt with this?

Thank you in advance,

Olga.
