Tried that. It definitely weeded out a lot, but I'm still getting
objects that were made Public Access back in like 2007, and then taken
off at some point. I need a way to say that only objects that fit
between those entered dates should be considered for the 'true' part.
More parenthesis maybe? But where?

Hi Diane,

Try putting the left (opening) parentheses in the first Entered Date
row, and the right (closing) parentheses in the second Entered Date row.

Subject: Advanced Query help!

Hope everyone is having a great Friday afternoon!

I'm stumped on an Advance Query I am trying to create for the purpose of
monthly statistics. I would like to know how many records have been made
Public Access over a certain time period. I'm basing the search off of
the Audit Trail, and a New Value of true in the PublicAccess columname,
with a range of dates. I can sort of get it to do from a certain date
forward, but when I try to do the date range, it includes all sorts of
records that were from much earlier. I think my field choices are right,
and that I can probably fix this with proper placement of the
parenthesis, but I'm just not getting it right. I'm sure it's staring me
right in the face, but I think I've been looking at it too long. I'll
put a screen shot of the search below. I'd appreciate any help anyone
can give me, including telling me I'm going about it completely wrong!

(Don't think it matters for this, but I'm on TMS2010)

Thanks!

Diane
