We have a Crystal Report that averages light levels based on three readings: one at install, one halfway through, and one at deinstall. It's a little quirky, but it's better than nothing!

Subject: Tracking Light Exposure

Our conservation team is interested in knowing how other institutions using TMS are tracking cumulative light exposure for works of art. At the very least, they want to be able to record actual display begin and end dates (which of course are not always the same as the related exhibition dates or loan periods, especially when there is a long install) and possibly the average light level for that period.

Anyone doing this? Where and how are you recording this information?

Thanks!
