Hi Adele,

We are still on TMS 2016 R2, but if you are interested, we have a DAMS Flat Export file that brings media data into TMS to linked object records and a Syncing program that syncs new object data from a limited range of fields and copies it to our MediaBin DAMS records. Both were built in-house and run nightly via the SQL Server Manager.

We are currently expanding the process to link to other modules, e.g. Exhibitions and Events, and Conservation records within the Objects module.

If you want more details, I can connect you with our dba, Steve Scidmore.

Hope you are staying safe and well,

Frances

Hello all,

We have recently (within the past 5 years) converted our DAMS to Piction, and are now (currently) in the process of converting to TMS Collections and looking down the link at getting the two systems to speak to each other. To that end, we have some questions...

Does anyone have their TMS integrated (2-way) with a DAMS that is not Media Studio (so from a vendor that is not GS)?

If so, does the integration work smoothly for you? And how was the process of getting the integration set up--how long did it take, was it expensive, etc?

Thanks for insight anyone might have,
Adele
