External Email - Exercise Caution
We are changing our whole location schema (kind of a mess, as each department has its own legacy descriptions) to a more explicit one (Room/Row/Unit/Shelf). As no collections are actually moving, most of it is fairly straightforward. Or, rather, it's straightforward so long as the CURRENT and HOME locations are the same. I am unable to deactivate, say, the "8x10 Boxes" location, because something is out on loan and its home location is "8x10 Boxes". How do I CHANGE the Home Location without MOVING the items to that new Home Location?! Is there something obvious I'm missing? Some clever trick of backdating the Scheduled Move function?
Thanks!
