Hi Steve,

You should not need to reboot a machine after doing a full uninstall/install of TMS - it certainly would not hurt to do so, but it is not required.  It is, however, important to completely uninstall the older version by using the Windows Control Panel "Programs and Features" Uninstall option so that all Registry settings are cleaned up in addition to the removal of the applications.

Hi, I'm curious about this.

I always uninstall any previous version before installing a new version of the TMS client - but I never heard about any necessity for rebooting in between. Is this really required?

Hi Rupert,

As mentioned below 2016 R2.  We've learned from GS that a proper installation requires an uninstall of any previous version of TMS then a reboot of your PC and then installation of 2016 R2.
