At the National Archives and in the Presidential Libraries, there are
various classes of digitized files with associated standards, such as
'record' (the file is not just an image of a 'record' holding - it IS the
official record holding), 'access copies', 'master copies', 'preservation
copies', 'accountability image', etc.

Do other institutions classify media in similar ways? Can you share some
examples?
What field in TMS do you use, if any to track these classifications (anyone
using the 'Media Status' field)?
How otherwise is this field is used (eg per some sort of q.c. process on
media)?

Many thanks,
