External Email - Exercise Caution Will (and others): As Chad says, Conservation Studio uses Flex Fields and Text Entries to provide configurability that every institution can use to support their own terminologies and work flows. Sharing common reporting resources between institutions is supported via the “GS Identifiers” settings in the configuration program, which lets you map your institution’s terms with standardized terminology and IDs. You can create Data Entry Views, Reports, etc. that can be shared by referencing these common IDs. We are already using this approach to handle commonly-used text fields like Proposal, Treatment and Remarks, as well as checkboxes like Action Required and Action Taken. We plan to build out this feature further in response to what the community is ready to share, and I’d welcome any input (off-list). External Email - Exercise Caution Will, because Conservation Studio makes extensive use of Text Entries and Flex Fields to hold the data, there are very few reports that are transferable between institutions/systems. If you would be willing to share, please feel free to contact me off list. I’m also looking for some basic report examples for Conservation Studio – I’m trying to avoid having to start from scratch. Any help in this area would be very appreciated.
