This has been annoying us for years as well. It appears to be in the right
orientation in windows and a variety of other software. When it goes into
TMS it flips on its side. We're usually using Canon powershot and have
experimented by shooting all images in the same orientation, but we still
get one here and there that flips and can't figure out why. Usually we can
rotate in any number of software 360 degrees and then it will look right in
TMS. I sent Brian at GS some images last week to hopefully get to the
bottom of this, but haven't heard back yet.
