Amber - Whenever I do a training, I always tell users that AQ is the only place to perform a not query, so I positive I must have heard that somewhere before. Our curatorial assistance never used TMS before coming to MIM, but have become wizards at AQ, and I think have started using it as their primary searching tool.

The feedback I usually get is "Advanced query is intimidating, until you start using it, then it's really easy."

Subject: Boolean searching

Sorry if this is kind of a dumb question, but does anyone know if it's possible to use the operator "NOT" in free text searching? I know you can use Advanced Query for this, but some of our users are intimidated by advanced query and wanted to know if they could use "NOT" in Query Assistant. I tried it out and it doesn't seem to be an option, and I'm not finding it in the manual.
