Here at NASM, we enter serial numbers into the Alternate Numbers field. It is fairly convenient as "Search Alternate Numbers" is a check box choice on the "Find Object" query.

Subject: Serial number?

Hello TMS experts,

Anyone cataloguing currency (or anything with a serial), and make a practice of entering the serial number? If so, what field in TMS do you use, or, do you use a custom field?

With thanks,

Ariana
