Dear Ashley,
I believe this can be accomplished with the application M.S. Reporting,
which I have been told should come bundled with MS SQL Server 2005. I
think you have to be pretty well versed in SQL, though. MS Reporting is
the only application that I have heard of that can "automatically" email
scheduled moves alerts, etc. You should also be able to automatically
send updates, i.e. each month a list of new accessions are emailed to
all on a selected distribution list.
Sorry I don't know more.
Cheers,

Subject: Outlook and TMS
Hello wise TMS users-
I have a question regarding Microsoft Outlook and TMS. I seem recall
hearing about the ability to have the TMS system 'talk' to Outlook for
deadlines and scheduled moves. Has anyone successfully done this or can
it even be done? And does it need a lot of work from our IT department?
Just curious...
Thanks,
Ashley
