If you have an SQL whiz in-house, I believe you can reset the
component's HomeLocationID to -1 to "unassign" the home location.
I haven't done it in a long time, but if memory serves, -1 is the magic
number!

Subject: Home locations - unassigning

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to unassign home locations? Our works don't have
home locations, but they were assigned during the data migration from
our old database. I'd like to unassign them for all the works, so if you
know a batch method, that would be perfect. Or I could just go in one by
one if you know how-that's fine too.

Many thanks,
Patty Tainter
